The EL was present on the 12th september in the European Parliament at the reunion concerning the Bolkestein directive organised by the GUE/NGL Group. This reunion consisted in coordinating our efforts togheter with the many movements of civil society that strive against the directive on services. Here is the common declaration and plan for action:

Sixty years have elapsed since atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, one of the greatest tragedies in history. The global cry for “No more Hiroshima – No more Nagasaki” is not just the denunciation of a hideous crime. It is a universal reminder and warning.
The last 9 and 10 july 2005, Esquerra Unida i Alternativa, EuiA, held the IVth National Assembly, the party highest medium, equivalent to a Congress party. Nearly 700 delegates took part actively in it. Marga Ferre and Helmut Scholz, members of the Executive Board of the EL participated on the EuiA congress.
